​Knauf signs, publishes undertakings to divest USG joint-venture interest in Boral

( April 1, 2019, 00:31 GMT | Official Statement) -- MLex Summary: Building-materials company Knauf has signed and submitted to the Australian competition regulator undertakings to divest the interest of US-based USG in Australian company Boral, in the wake of its acquisition of the US company. The ACCC said last week it wouldn't oppose the deal, subject to the divestment of USG's interest in Boral. The buyer of the divestment must be approved by the ACCC and the divestiture must be achieved within a certain period.
