Swirlate IP, with suspected ties to IP Edge, ordered to appear at hearing, produce unredacted documents

( August 28, 2024, 10:10 GMT | Official Statement) -- MLex Summary: A US judge whose local rules for patent cases, designed to ensure greater transparency, require litigants to reveal the details of their formation and whether they have any third-party funding agreements has ordered Swirlate IP to remove the redactions in the more than 700 pages of information it produced in March.  According to US District Judge Colm F. Connolly of the District of Delaware, because the documents will be viewed in camera and pursuant to court order, the plaintiff's work-product privilege concerns are mooted.See document below....
