Google seeks leave for motions to dismiss state law claims in US digital ad antitrust case

( March 12, 2024, 14:32 GMT | Official Statement) -- MLex Summary: Google asked a US federal judge for leave to file motions to dismiss state law antitrust claims in multidistrict litigation over the company's allegedly illegal monopolization of digital advertising markets, according to a letter filed in New York federal court. A stay previously ordered by the court means Google has not yet had an opportunity to seek dismissal of the plaintiffs' state law claims, and US District Judge Kevin Castel's March 1, 2024 order trimming federal antitrust claims in the case should result in the dismissal of some of those claims, the company said.See document below....
