Danfoss's acquisition of Eaton business suffers three-week Australian regulatory delay

( September 14, 2020, 01:22 GMT | Official Statement) -- MLex Summary: Danfoss's plans to acquire the hydraulics business of Irish-US company Eaton have suffered a regulatory delay in Australia, where the competition watchdog has extended by three weeks the deadline for an initial decision on the deal. In an entry to the Australian Competition & Consumer Commission’s website, dated Sept. 11, the regulator said it had extended the timeline to “undertake further investigation steps and consider information provided by Danfoss.” The deadline has been moved from Sept. 24 to Oct. 15.
