Alliance Pharmaceuticals, others appeal UK antitrust fines over prochlorperazine supply

( May 17, 2022, 16:39 GMT | Official Statement) -- MLex Summary: Drug firms Alliance Pharmaceuticals, Lexon and Advanz Pharma, as well as private equity firm Cinven, have appealed the Competition and Markets Authority's decision earlier this year to fine them for breaking competition rules in the supply of nausea drug prochlorperazine. The challenges were lodged at the Competition Appeal Tribunal. In its decision, the CMA fined several companies more than 35 million pounds over their market behavior concerning the drug.Notices attached....
