Nightclubs Grisú, Alliance should be fined in cartel probe, Argentina's CNDC investigators say

( November 29, 2022, 17:44 GMT | Official Statement) -- MLex Summary: Argentine antitrust investigators have recommended that the National Secretary of Commerce fine nightclubs Grisú and Alliance a total of 240 million pesos ($1.43 million) for engaging in a cartel, according to a statement. In its decision, the National Commission for the Defense of Competition, or CNDC, said the companies engaged in price-fixing and market division in the nightclub market focused on students' tourism in Bariloche city. CNDC also recommended that the Secretary orders Genux neither to be controlled by an individual or legal entity linked to Alliance, nor by its directors or shareholders.
