Souza Cruz notifies CADE of plan to distribute Diageo Brasil's alcoholic beverages

The companies filed paperwork with the antitrust agency through the fast-track procedure, but on June 28, antitrust officials said the deal was ineligible for fast-track processing because one of the companies holds a share higher than 30 percent in one of the vertically integrated markets affected by the deal.
