Dollar Tree says it expects to divest fewer than 300 stores as part of Family Dollar bid

( January 12, 2015, 14:22 GMT | Official Statement) -- MLex Summary: Dollar Tree said Monday that the company expects to enter an agreement with the US Federal Trade Commission on divestitures by the end of the month in relation to its agreement to buy disount retailer Family Dollar. DollarTree said it expects the FTC will require fewer than 300 stores to be sold to address antitrust concerns.
