Mecom says review deadline on De Persgroep deal has been extended

( January 9, 2015, 07:39 GMT | Official Statement) -- MLex Summary: The deadline on a Dutch review of De Persgroep’s plan to buy rival media company Mecom Group has been pushed back, and it’s unclear whether the deal will be cleared before Jan. 26, Mecom said today. But De Persgroep remains confident that a license for the transaction will be granted in the near future, the statement said.
