Foxconn had offered a total of more than 600 billion yen ($5.37 billion), including 489 billion yen in stock purchases. After the Japanese maker of liquid crystal displays disclosed its potential liabilities in late February, however, Foxconn began looking to reduce its contribution by up to 200 billion yen. Sharp and its main banks want to conclude the deal by the end of March....
