Elgas' move on Liquigas stake, On Gas from Vector Investment faces New Zealand public review

( August 26, 2024, 05:13 GMT | Official Statement) -- MLex Summary: Elgas’ plans to acquire 60 percent of shares in Liquigas and assets of On Gas from Vector Investment is facing a public review in New Zealand. In a statement, the New Zealand Commerce Commission said it had received the application; a public version of the application is now available. Both Elgas and Vector are active in the wholesale and retail supply of liquified petroleum gas in New Zealand. Liquigas provides upstream distribution and logistics for LPG. Wholesalers including Elgas and Vector purchase LPG directly from local and overseas producers and use Liquigas to transport LPG to their facilities.
