Deere requests Brazilian review of buyout of German machinery maker Wirtgen

( July 21, 2017, 21:12 GMT | Official Statement) -- MLex Summary: US heavy equipment maker Deere & Company has requested Brazilian antitrust approval to buy Germany's Wirtgen Group, a maker of road-building equipment, according to a statement released today in the case file. It is still unknown whether the companies filed paperwork with the Administrative Council for Economic Defense, or CADE, using a full-form notification or through the fast-track procedure.
