Vamavi Phone pays Spanish GDPR fine

( February 11, 2021, 11:03 GMT | Official Statement) -- MLex Summary: Vamavi Phone, a Spanish company providing business-consulting services, has paid a fine of 24,000 euros imposed by the national data protection authority for violating the GDPR. Vamavi had failed to fulfil a data subject's right to object to commercial calls on behalf of Vodafone, the authority said. The regulator also said the company lacked adequate technical and organizational procedures. The initial fine amounted to 40,000 euros, but the reduction was granted when the company made a voluntary payment.The decision is attached in Spanish....
