Irish EUR1.22 billion support for companies affected by war in Ukraine approved, EU Commission says

( November 24, 2022, 10:45 GMT | Official Statement) -- MLex Summary: Ireland can support companies of all sizes active in all sectors that are affected by the war in Ukraine, the European Commission has said. It has cleared a 1.22 billion-euro program that will cover 40 percent of additional costs for electricity and gas. Companies must demonstrate a 50 percent price increase compared to the average unit price for the same month in the previous year, the regulator said.
