Defendants in Brazilian fuel cartel probe in Belo Horizonte asked to submit final defenses

( November 13, 2017, 16:41 GMT | Official Statement) -- MLex Summary: Defendants in a Brazilian fuel cartel probe in Belo Horizonte were asked to submit their final defenses in ten days, according to a statement disclosed today in the case file. After that, the Superintendence of the Administrative Council for Economic Defense, or CADE, will issue a recommendation in the case that will be referred to the agency's upper-tier Tribunal for a ruling. Additionally, CADE investigators removed individual defendants Fernando José Longo Campos and Mário Rodrigues Breda Filho from the probe because of their death.CADE statement follows in Portuguese.
