NetDoktor.de wins antitrust injunction against Google at Munich court

( February 10, 2021, 10:39 GMT | Official Statement) -- MLex Summary: The regional court in Munich has ruled that a cooperation between Google and Germany's health ministry is anticompetitive, in response to an injunction sought by NetDoktor.de. In this online cooperation, when someone runs a search on diseases, results give preferential treatment — and a direct link — to healthcare information from gesund.bund.de, operated by the health ministry. The court said the ministry had entered into an agreement with Google that restricts competition on the market for health portals, and has now provisionally prohibited any such cooperation.
