French data-protection watchdog CNIL provides advice on keeping privacy with voice assistants

The authority said there's a need for transparency and security for these devices so that they respect the EU's General Data Protection Regulation and individuals' privacy. The authority also provides advice to users on how to control their voice assistants so that the confidentiality of their data is ensured, how to explain their use to children and guarantee security of data collected by the devices.The paper is attached....
