Toshiba faces additional shareholder lawsuit over accounting scandal

( July 20, 2017, 01:26 GMT | Official Statement) -- MLex Summary: Toshiba received a notice yesterday that six investors, including foreign shareholders, filed a lawsuit against the company demanding a total of 9.2 billion yen ($82 million) in compensation for its accounting fraud scandal. The lawsuit was filed on June 16 with the Tokyo District Court. Toshiba said in a statement today that it would respond to the lawsuit appropriately.
