Advanced Bionics takes aim at MED-EL cochlear implant technology in complaint filed with US International Trade Commission

( August 16, 2024, 10:10 GMT | Official Statement) -- MLex Summary: Advanced Bionics is seeking a permanent limited exclusion order barring MED−EL Elektromedizinische Geräte GmbH and MED-EL Corporation USA from importing certain cochlear implants which Advanced Bionics says infringe two patents.  Singled out for investigation are MED-EL's SONNET 2, SONNET 2 EAS, and RONDO 3 sound processors, "and all MED-EL components sold to work in conjunction with these sound processors as part of MED-EL’s cochlear implant system."See document below....
