In 2022, the lower General Court upheld the duties, finding the EU trade watchdog was right to set them at higher level than the level of injury felt by the bloc's industry because of significant distortions to raw material prices found in Russia. In its ruling today, the EU top court confirmed the lower-tier judges’ earlier verdict, ending Nevinnomyssky Azot’s legal battle with the European Commission over the legality of the measures.The judgment is attached.
