Meta Platforms sued again in Netherlands over data transparency and transfers

Consumer groups Data Privacy Stichting and Consumentenbond said today they have started a new lawsuit against the social media giant, seeking compensation for Facebook and Instagram users. An Amsterdam court ruled against Meta in a previous case brought by the pair but did not award compensation.
