Pornhub, others failed to get consent before allowing adult content to be posted, Canada privacy chief says

An investigation into pornographic website operator Aylo uncovered significant problems that allowed highly sensitive and intimate content to be posted without individuals’ knowledge or permission. “The inadequate privacy protection measures on Pornhub and other Aylo sites have led to devastating consequences for the complainant and other victims of non-consensual disclosure of intimate images,” Commissioner Philippe Dufresne said.Statement follows in full.
