EU forex cartel: summary decisions, reports published by EU Commission

( May 6, 2022, 08:19 GMT | Official Statement) -- MLex Summary: The European Commission today issued summary versions of its decision last year to fine Barclays, RBS, HSBC and Credit Suisse a total of 344 million euros, for their role in a forex trading cartel. HSBC was hit with the highest penalty, of more than 174 million euros. UBS escaped a fine, for blowing the whistle on the cartel.
