​NDRC's Vringo IP rights abuse probe continues

( March 11, 2016, 08:46 GMT | Official Statement) -- MLex Summary: China’s National Development and Reform Commission, or NDRC, hasn’t closed its investigation of Vringo over alleged abuses of intellectual property rights, despite Chinese telecoms equipment maker ZTE asking it to conclude the probe following a settlement between the two companies, Vringo has said in a filing to the US Securities and Exchange Commission. In December 2015, the companies agreed to withdraw all pending litigation and proceedings against one another. Vringo was informed of the NDRC’s investigation in January last year, which the company believed was launched at the request of ZTE, Vringo said previously. An extract of the transcript of the press conference follows:...
