In Google location-privacy case, Arizona AG moves for summary judgment

( August 25, 2020, 23:28 GMT | Official Statement) -- MLex Summary: Arizona Attorney General Mark Brnovich has filed for summary judgment asking a state court judge to find that Google violated a state consumer protection law that bars deceptive statements. "Google made deceptive and false statements, repeatedly and habitually omitted material information, and made it harder to access settings in order to get users to hand over location data that Google then used to sell and serve advertisements of merchandise," the attorney general said in the motion. See attached documents....
