( April 8, 2009, 11:04 GMT | Official Statement) -- MLex Summary: The incumbent telecom operator in Poland, Telekomunikacja Polska (TPSA), has published the results of an analysis by Audytel into its proposed alternative to functional separation mooted by regulator UKE, the "equivalence charter". The analysis concludes that the equivalence charter will result in benefits to society of 815 million zloty, compared to 267 million for functional separation, and that the charter will produce beneficial effects after two years, compared to five years for functional separation. In addition, the Audytel research concludes that the TPSA charter is more flexible for next-generation networks....
