Coupang, CPLB hit with fines for subcontracting violations by South Korean competition regulator

The Korea Fair Trade Commission stated that from March 2019 to January 2022 these companies engaged in unfair subcontracting practices, entrusting the manufacturing of products, intended for sale on Coupang's e-commerce platform, to 218 suppliers, providing misleading cost details that diverged from the actual Private Brand subcontracting transactions.The statement, in Korean, is attached....
