ICC Brasil supports delay in data protection law due to lack of authority to enforce law

( August 20, 2020, 14:27 GMT | Official Statement) -- MLex Summary: Brazil's International Chamber of Commerce, or ICC Brasil, said it supports the approval by Congress of a presidential provisional measure delaying the data protection law's implementation to May 3, 2021, due to the lack of an authority to enforce the law, according to a statement. ICC Brasil said that companies have no clarity over how they should treat data in the country.
