Seventh Circuit sends back case over cattle sexing to reassess two patent claims

( January 29, 2019, 22:31 GMT | Official Statement) -- MLex Summary: The US Court of Appeals for the Seventh Circuit has concluded that ABS Global violated a confidentiality agreement it had with Sexing Technologies, and that Sexing Tech’s patent was not invalid on obviousness grounds, affirming a lower court decision. However, the panel ruled that the jury’s assessments of two of the three patent claims still at issue cannot be reconciled under the rules governing dependent claims and enablement and a new trial is necessary on them.See document below....
