LPG joint venture, two gun-jumping probes get Feb. 21 ruling date in Brazil

( February 15, 2024, 13:16 GMT | Official Statement) -- MLex Summary: The Brazilian competition authority is scheduled to rule on Feb. 21 on a planned joint venture in the liquefied petroleum gas market between Oiltanking Logística Brasil, Queiroz Participações (GEQ) and Copa Energia Distribuidora de Gás and on a gun-jumping probe involving car dealers, including CMJ Comércio de Veículos, Mais Distribuidora de Veículo and Automec Comercial de Veículo. The Administrative Council for Economic Defense, or CADE, will also rule on a gun-jumping probe into agricultural companies Cocamar Cooperativa Agroindustrial and Cooperativa Agropecuária Norte Paranaense.
