Claimants and their funders have been comforted by proposed legislative changes now going through Parliament, and there have been early wins in three cases where revised arrangements have already been approved by competition judges, with the latest coming just yesterday in a suit against Meta Platforms.The UK’s antitrust collective action regime was roiled last summer by a Supreme Court ruling that litigation-funding agreements underpinning much of it are unenforceable — but claimants and their funders have reason to hope they can hurdle the challenge....
