Jimbo Networks pays Spanish GDPR fine

( April 18, 2022, 16:05 GMT | Official Statement) -- MLex Summary: Jimbo Networks, an online marketing company, has paid 9,000 euros for violating both EU and Spanish data privacy rules, the national data watchdog has said. In a case related to the alleged profiling of website visitors, including minors, the regulator found that Jimbo had breached the national rule on cookies, as well as Articles 6 and 13 of the GDPR, by the illegal processing of personal data and the failure to respect the obligation to inform. The initial fine amounted to 15,000 euros — made up of three fines of 5,000 euros for each violation — but it was reduced when Jimbo made a voluntary payment.The decision is attached in Spanish....
