Regulatory reviews force Iron Mountain to delay vote on takeover

( March 1, 2016, 08:43 GMT | Official Statement) -- MLex Summary: Australian data protection service provider Recall Holdings has delayed a shareholder vote on a $2.6 billion takeover offer by US data storage services company Iron Mountain to accommodate the completion of regulatory reviews in Australia, then US, the UK and Canada. Recall has deferred its shareholder vote from March 17 to April 19, 2016, and will schedule subsequent Australian Federal Court approval soon afterwards. The company maintains that Iron Mountain has made substantial progress with regulators in each jurisdiction, and that it expects the transaction to close in the second quarter of 2016. The company's statement is attached....
