Stockland, Lendlease property deal reviewed by Australian competition watchdog

( February 9, 2024, 00:42 GMT | Official Statement) -- MLex Summary: A joint bid by property developers Stockland Corporation and Supalai Australia to acquire the development rights of twelve greenfield housing projects from rival developer Lendlease is facing a public review by the Australian competition regulator. In a statement, the Australian Competition & Consumer Commission said it would examine whether the Stockland-Supalai joint-venture will have the ability and incentive to reduce the supply of housing in key growth corridors.
