EU trade negotiator calls for quickened pace to conclude TTIP talks in 2016

( February 26, 2016, 19:32 GMT | Official Statement) -- MLex Summary: The chief EU negotiator at the Transatlantic Trade and Investment Partnership talks on Friday said that the pace of negotiations should accelerate so that an agreement can be reached in 2016. EU trade official Ignacio Garcia Bercero said that regulatory and rules matters should be finished by summer, allowing the talks to concentrate on more difficult matters.
