HeidelbergCement, Thoma Bravo get EU approval for Command Alkon deal

( April 12, 2022, 10:37 GMT | Official Statement) -- MLex Summary: HeidelbergCement and private equity firm Thoma Bravo have secured EU approval to jointly control Command Alkon, a supplier of automation software to the construction industry. The European Commission said the deal would raise no competition concerns since the companies wouldn’t have the incentive to shut out other players. Furthermore, HeidelbergCement wouldn’t be able to use Command Alkon’s software to gain sensitive information on its rivals, the watchdog said.Statement follows....
