DB Netz loses court challenge in dispute with rail operator over network surcharges

The surcharges levied by DB Netz — following the application of an additional, regional factor to calculate the fees it collects for the use of its track network — constitute a breach of laws that prohibit dominance abuse because they are aimed at distorting competition, the court said.The ruling is attached.
