CADE to expand digital services for leniency agreements, merger reviews

( August 4, 2020, 18:33 GMT | Official Statement) -- MLex Summary: The Brazilian competition authority has announced plans to expand its offer of digital solutions to leniency applicants who will be able to submit information through the agency's digital system, and to merger applicants and market players who will receive digital questionnaires to assist in the agency's merger reviews. The plan also involves other changes aiming at reducing the bureaucracy of CADE's processes. The Administrative Council for Economic Defense, or CADE, will implement the project  in 2020 and 2021.See CADE press release and digital plan below (in Portuguese)....
