Nanjing court rejects concrete companies’ allegations against local price regulator

( December 8, 2014, 06:58 GMT | Official Statement) -- MLex Summary: The Nanjing Intermediate People’s Court rejected a lawsuit against the Jiangsu Price Bureau filed by three concrete companies in Jiangsu Province that were previously fined by the regulator for price fixing , Nanjing Construction Group and Nanjing Jiasheng Concrete and Nanjing Dadi Wanhong Concrete, the National Development and Reform Commission said in a joint statement. Dadi Wanhong Concrete later withdrew the charges. The court ruled that counsels of the two companies provided false evidence that misled the court and that the allegations weren’t justified. Compulsory enforcement of the regulator’s penalties has also been implemented as ordered by the court.The full statement follows:...
