South Korea's Mirae Asset Securities seeks Indian clearance to acquire BNP Paribas's local brokerage

Despite the horizontal and vertical overlaps, the parties told the Competition Commission of India that the proposed transaction doesn't raise any competition concerns nor would it cause any appreciable adverse effect on local competition.
