Fega & Schmitt wins conditional Polish approval to buy electrical wholesaler TIM

( January 26, 2024, 10:36 GMT | Official Statement) -- MLex Summary: Fega & Schmitt Elektrogrosshandel has received approval from the Polish competition authority to take over electrical-goods distributor TIM. UOKiK said today that the clearance is conditional upon Fega & Schmitt selling a TIM store in Zielona Góra, western Poland to an independent investor, to ensure the continuation of the wholesale business. Fega & Schmitt, which is part of international group Adolf Würth, provides distribution services for electrical goods and related logistics services. Wrocław-based TIM offers sales both through its online platform and through its sales offices and agents.Statement follows (in Polish)....
