German Energy Regulator: TelDaFax commitments to withdraw examination fee for termination of electricity and gas contracts made legally binding

( March 25, 2009, 09:17 GMT | Official Statement) -- MLex Summary: TelDaFax has made a legally binding declaration to the German network agency, the Bundesnetzagentur, to withdraw an examination fee previosuly charged to current and future electricity and gas customers who terminate their contracts. TelDaFax had previously charged a 10 euro fee but the Bundesnetzagentur believed this to hinder consumers considering switching providers.
