CTS Eventim-TicketOne’s Italian dominance-abuse fine annulled by court

( March 29, 2022, 10:23 GMT | Official Statement) -- MLex Summary: A market-abuse fine imposed by Italy's antitrust enforcer on ticket seller CTS Eventim-TicketOne has now been scrapped, following a recent ruling by the administrative court in Rome. In December 2020, the AGCM fined CTS Eventim-TicketOne more than 10 million euros, for implementing a strategy aimed at hindering rival operators from selling a high number of tickets for pop concerts. In its ruling recently published, judges said the AGCM had wrongly considered that the acquisition of four rival promoters was an essential element for establishing an abuse of dominance.Ruling is attached (in Italian). ...
