Google attempts to bring judicial review case against Irish data protection regulator

The tech giant wants to ensure that an inquiry by the regulator was opened legally and to verify the legal basis of the complaint. The case has not been formally opened, so details are sparse, but MLex understands it does not relate to two public enforcement actions against Google by the watchdog in relation to advertising and location data.Google is attempting to bring a judicial review claim against the Irish data protection authority....
