Comment: Kyushu Electric's appeal of JFTC sanctions may hinge on its change of stance

Kyushu is denying any wrongdoing in its objection to the JFTC decision, which determined there was a market-sharing cartel between Kyushu and Kansai Electric power companies. The Tokyo District Court will likely look at Kyushu’s apparent change of stance in what is generally being seen as an uphill battle to cancel the JFTC sanctions.
