Court of Justice: AG Opinion in joined cases C-78/08 C-79/08 C-80/08 Paint Graphos Adige Carni Franchetto

( July 8, 2010, 15:54 GMT | Official Statement) -- MLex Summary: An Advocate General has advised the Court of Justice to declare inadmissible certain questions referred by an Italian court concerning national legislation providing tax-relief measures for co-operative societies. However, in the event the court decides to rule on the case, the AG suggests that only the first question be considered. According to the opinion, the fiscal measures applicable to production and labour co-operatives exempting certain revenue from tax should not be considered state aid.Read the French language version of the full opinion below....
