Intellectual property rules should not be addressed through Nafta, EFF says

( June 12, 2017, 19:20 GMT | Official Statement) -- MLex Summary: The US should not address intellectual property rules through Nafta, the Electronic Frontiers Forum said. Instead, EFF said, they should be discussed in open multilateral fora such as the UN World Intellectual Property Organization. "Including such rules in trade agreements could inhibit the United States from modernizing its own intellectual property rules in the future," EFF said.Please see attached document....
