Dafu Media, Kbro fined by Taiwan regulator for not implementing merger remedies on 2020 transaction

( January 17, 2024, 07:10 GMT | Official Statement) -- MLex Summary: Dafu Media and Kbro have been fined NT$50 million ($1.6 million) each for failing to implement remedies imposed by the Taiwan Fair Trade Commission in October 2020 when the regulator conditionally cleared Dafu Media’s acquisition of Kbro and 12 of its affiliate cable TV operators. The remedies prevented them from operating jointly with other cable TV operators.
