Czech AV suppliers to pay reduced fines after settling bid-rigging probe

( March 23, 2022, 11:14 GMT | Official Statement) -- MLex Summary: Four audiovisual suppliers in the Czech Republic have been fined a total of more than 2.4 million koruna (around $109,000) by the national competition authority for rigging bids during public tenders in 2016 and 2017. The agency named the companies as AV Media Systems, M Plus, Nowatron Elektronik and Scientica Agency, and said their conduct distorted competition in the selection of suppliers.
