Data manager Black Tiger Belgium receives GDPR fine

( January 16, 2024, 15:55 GMT | Official Statement) -- MLex Summary: Data-management company Black Tiger Belgium, formerly Bisnode Belgium, has been fined almost 175,000 euros by the national Data Protection Authority, for violating the EU's General Data Protection Regulation. The watchdog found that Black Tiger Belgium had engaged in large-scale data processing without adequately informing individuals, leading to privacy risks. The company received fines for illegal data processing, inadequate response to access requests, and deficiencies in its processing activities register, the regulator said.
